As driving instructors, I believe self-reflection is the key to continuous improvement - both in our teaching and business.
Today, I’ve put together five questions designed to spark some introspection and, hopefully, inspire positive change:
1. Reflect on a recent challenging lesson:
What did that experience reveal about you and the areas where you could improve?
2. Student feedback as a tool:
How do you currently integrate student feedback into your methods, and what changes might enhance your results?
3. What makes you stand out:
What makes you stand out from other driving schools, and how can you innovate to stay ahead in a competitive environment?
4. Investing in your growth:
Reflect on your professional learning journey. Is there a particular skill or piece of knowledge you’ve been meaning to develop? What’s one simple, actionable step you can take to boost your expertise?
5. Optimising your business systems:
When you think about your current processes, whether it’s student follow-ups, scheduling, or marketing, which one could benefit from a small, innovative tweak and how might that change improve outcomes?
Take a moment for yourself today.
Jot down your thoughts, take action on one insight, or simply ponder how these questions can steer you toward becoming an even better instructor and run a better business.
Let's keep raising standards.
